My name is Anat Aloni and I am the founding director of PROinmotion in Melbourne, Australia, where I have lived for the past 7 years. I am 40, married to Boaz, my best friend and partner and a mother to Maya, our 5 year-young princess and Mika who joined the family few months ago...
Throughout my adult life, my friends have kept on telling me that I should wake up to the real world because they thought I lived my life as if in a movie... Guess I was a ‘suppressed dreamer’ who survived the daily grind by being highly motivated.
I developed a meaningful career in the corporate world in Israel by working 24/7, striving for excellence and being the best. Earning a great salary, having occasional short vacations overseas and, from the outside, looking in – life couldn’t be better… But those of you who have been in the corporate world know – you pay a big price for it…
I guess my story is like everyone else’s, distinctive decoration indeed, but overall, we are all the same: people; with feelings, dreams and hopes. With fears and insecurities and many unanswered questions about life. Professionally, I always defined myself as the best number 2 any number 1 could wish for… but going through all these life-changing experiences made me make a serious check. What do I really want?
My life experience, especially in the past few years, has proven to me that if you want to have more - you have to give more. And if you want to give more you have to become more. For me, now more than ever, it is clear: it’s ALL about making a difference. It is about the people. It’s about the relationships. It’s about meeting and helping people change their lives for the better, wherever they are and whatever their dreams are.
And this is where PROinmotion comes in: Whether in opening a business or growing a business, whether in life, for personal growth or career changes. Whether it’s big or small - PRO is here for YOU!
My solution to my own questions was to strike out, identify my needs and desires, recognise my own potential and personal development and do something for myself, with myself. PROinmotion is the result – something that fits both my own need for self-improvement and my fundamental view that in order to move forward, you have to give something back.
